    When does the camp run?

    The 2024 camp is August 12-16, 2024.


    Where is the camp held?

    The camp takes place at the St George (Downtown) Campus of the University of Toronto. Students will have a “home room” for each day of the camp but the activities will take place in various departments throughout the campus.


    Who is the camp open to?

    The camp is open to students in high school. Those that have finished Grade 10 up to those who have finished Grade 11.


    What is the fee?

    $300


    Is financial assistance available?

    Yes, Science Unlimited offers financial assistance in the form of bursaries and scholarships. Email outreach@physics.utoronto.ca for an application form AFTER you have completed the online application form.


    I’ve applied for the camp, does that guarantee me a spot?

    No, due to the nature of the program and the limited availability of spaces this camp is offered on an application basis. This means that just because you submit an application you are not guaranteed a spot in the camp. Once you submit the application it will be reviewed by our applications committee, and you will be notified if you are selected.


    What is on the application?

    The application will you ask your personal and contact information. As well quiz type questions related to the physical sciences and a short essay.


    Do I have to pay before I’m accepted?

    No, you are only required to pay once you’ve received confirmation that you’ve been accepted. You will then be provided with a deadline to accept the offer and pay.


    Is lunch provided?

    No. Students are required to bring their own lunch, or they are allowed, in groups, to travel to local food vendors during the designated lunch time. Some snacks for breaks will be provided. Please note the University of Toronto no longer sells bottled water but provides water bottle filling stations. Camp welcome packages will contain reusable water bottles that students can fill. There will be a pizza lunch on the Friday.


    Is accommodation provided?

    No, this is only a day camp.
